Comedy Moot

The Stirling University Law Society are excited to be holding a Comedy Moot. This is one of the first mooting events organised by our Mooting Counsel, Angeliki Diamanti and Molly Graham.

This event will take place on Friday 14th October, 6pm-7:30pm, in Room 2B85, Cottrell Building. Tickets are free to SULS members and can be found here.

What will the event involve?

This event will run for an hour and a half, compromising of multiple informal moots regarding interesting debatable topics, including fast fashion and the legalisation of marijuana. This event will allow students to moot in person on both an appellant and defendant side in a relaxed, humorous environment.

This is a great opportunity for all students to learn the necessary skills of mooting, enhance their mooting knowledge and gain good experience.

A similar event was held last year, in collaboration with the Stirling University Geography Society, and went down very well with our members. You can have a look at some photos below!
